What is the best workflow to add audio files with voiceovers?

I have a video that I am making out of 23 invidividual scenes. I recorded a voiceover with audacity and broke it down into 23 small audio files.

This has been a very painful process because the video scenes were either 6 or 10 seconds but the adio was anything ranging from 6 to 12 seconds. And Wideo just decided where to clip the audio and I could not seem to access the wideo audio file in order to make that choice. Nor could I just easily add the 2 seonds on the video file to have the full 12 second audio file play. Wideo is sucha joy to use, I must just be missing how to actually do it. Could someone please advise me. I want my own voide rather than the robot voices. Thanks

  Hi there,

  Any extensive merging of files would have to be done outside the Wideo editor. 

  Though keep in mind that you can add video files to individual scenes:
